I am an 18-year-old College student. I attend Gwynedd Mercy University, majoring in Business management. I am on the dance team at my college. I love to binge watching animated movies. My most favorites are Tiana, Aladdin, and Home. I love to cook and try new foods. I was actually a Culinary Arts student for 4-years at the High School I attended. So, I am ServSafe certified. I have a few fur babies back home. 2 cats, "Zeeva" and "Honey" and a temporally adopted XL Bully puppy that goes by the name "Frenchie".

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 3 siblings who of which are all older than me. One of which is special needs. So, I’ve helped out a lot over the years with caretaking. My sister had my first niece in April of 2024, so I have also helped out in the caretaking of her. As well as household duties for my sister just so she could have a break. I spent a couple of months as staff at a community center. I was responsible for up to 5 kids at the time for at least 2 hours day. One of my responsibilities consisted of creating activities and ways for the children that attended this community center to explore their own creativity. I’ve always had a passion and soft spot for children as well as animals! So, if you have animals there's no need to worry. I can take care of the fur babies as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing Arts & Crafts, eating together/feeding babies, learning activities, and watching movies together.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is building trust with your child and having patience. Recognizing their age group and knowing how you should approach and conduct yourself with them so that they feel comfortable with you. It is also important to listen to the child as well as their parents and respect requests made.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been helping raise my brother since the age of 11. I was responsible for him as well as his special needs friends when we were going out without our guardians. Such as, to the park or to the store. I’ve helped with assignments he had been given by his teachers and taught him how to make certain foods for himself when he was not monitored. My brother has Asperger so, I have the most experience with his type of persons, but I am open to learning about others.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although it wasn't a professional setting, my niece had stayed with me for two days when her mother needed a break. During our time together I didn’t get much sleep but when she did, I could just watch her sleep forever. Sometimes I would purposely let her fall asleep in my arms to analyze her better. It was very peaceful for me.
