Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Sensory bins, outings to the zoo, safari park, pet stores, Seaworld, library, Legoland, parks, Target, walks, hikes, restaurants, etc. I believe any type of change of scenery is beneficial to developing minds and teaching through experience and exploration is the best way to teach children, especially before the age of 5.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Instilling confidence in children. Confidence in themselves and their abilities, confidence to be kind, confidence to be themselves, confidence to stick up for themselves and others.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with special needs children of all ranges/types at a school district. I worked mostly with those with emotional disturbances and general attention issues, typically between the grades of TK to second grade. I have some experience with medical special needs, though not enough to confidently care for a child without a few days of a complete walk through of their needs.
