A little bit about me

I have over 30 years experience caring for children of all ages. I have cared for preemies, multiples, and special needs children. I most recent experience was with a child with ADHD and her premature brother delivered via surrogate who had severe reflux, lip tie and tongue tie, and torticollis. I teach infant sign language and emotional intelligence to help children develop the ability to express emotions and needs in a healthy way. I believe each child learns at their own pace and it is important that I adapt to the child's learning style...not the other way around. I believe children need structure and discipline, not punishment. No means no the first time. Playtime is for fun and learning and field trips are necessary.
