A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Téa White, I am 20 years old and currently a junior at IU studying community health and on track to become a nurse. I am currently taking all online classes, so there has been very little reason for me to leave my home. With that being said I want you to know I have been properly socially distancing and care for the safety of you and your family. I currently work at the boys and girls club a few days out the week. I have been employed both in Bloomington and Fort Wayne clubs. I love working with children and teaching the next generation. I understand the urge and satisfaction of coming home after work to a clean and quiet house and I am here to make sure you receive that.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a program assistant for Boys and Girls Club in both Bloomington and Fort Wayne. Depending on my location during the week I would be at one of the sites, assisting with homework, or rotating from one program to another, doing career builders, and making sure each member received a snack and or lunch. During high school I also started my own care center for children. It was mainly children I knew or friends of a family child and they would request a time and day and see my availability and we would go from there with pick up and drop off time. I made sure the child ate for the appropriate time of the day. It their mom dropped them off before breakfast and they were here until after lunch they would receive breakfast, snack and lunch.

Drawling, painting, sports(basketball,soccer,volleyball), playing with their toys, watching family movies, baking, walks, games.

The safety of the child. The comfort of the child. Making a meaningful impact on both the children and parents. Providing individuals with support.

I have cared for children with Autism, cerebral palsy, ADHD, Blindness and deafness.

My favorite nanny moment was teaching one of my boys to ride his bike without training wheels.
