A little bit about me

Ever since I started my career in education, I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: fostering independence and creativity, inspiring others’ empathy and engagement in their communities, and instilling a sense of self-worth and belonging among all stakeholders. I have dedicated my career to each of these pursuits.
My qualifications include 9 years of elementary teaching experience, an M.Ed. in special education, a B.A. in women’s and gender studies, and a NJ CEAS in both elementary and special education.
In my most recent position as elementary educator for Lawrence Township School District, I developed and taught a kindergarten, first-grade, and second-grade curriculum. For more than 8 years, I have provided effective classroom management, creative lesson plans, detailed student evaluations, and highly praised instructional delivery.
Although I enjoyed my tenure at Lawrence Township School District, I am eager to take on a new opportunity to educate and inspire.
