I’m a 23 year old nanny, with experience I love running around these little miracles everyday and get paid to live what’s pretty much been my whole life anyway. I’ve been looking after all sorts of kids since I was 10! I was a cook for over a year as well, nothing fancy, but I can keep them fed! I love using imagination, but also providing some sort of educational information as well! What can I say? Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love board games, imaginative games, the usual hide and seeks and tags! I really love music and incorporating that into games as well! I’m also a fan of turning learning into fun with games! I like to do a little “play school” when I babysit, with set activities and a little schedule, just to get a good idea of what the day looks like!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters first and foremost is safety, always. As long as a child is safe, everything else will fall in after. I also firmly believe kids are just little people. They’re just like us with complex thoughts and emotions, so we have to treat them with that respect. I will always let a kid tell me how they feel or their side of the story because it’s just as important as my own. I encourage kindness and imagination. The world is what you make it, even for adults. So if it’s princesses or ninjas for a few years, I’m gonna let them cherish those moments!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I personally love to sing and play games, so any moments where they were singing, and laughing, and just having a blast! I like to bake sometimes as well and love enlisting little helping hands. Everyone feels productive with a job to do!
