I would engage with them by watching a movie(allowing them to pick) with them, coloring, completing puzzles and doing small arts and crafts. I also worked as a director for a toddler camp where I had about 10-15 kids each week. I would plan each day that they arrived, arts and crafts, swim days, gym day or play an activity with the bigger kids day. It all varied.
I really do enjoy working with kids. It’s part of what I want to do in my future career, which is to become a pediatric surgeon.
