I have been babysitting/nannying kids for about 10 ish year. I have worked in church nurseries, daycares, preschools, kindergarten classes, and with families in their homes. I am one of 5 children as well, and also the oldest, I have been around kids my whole life practically.

I’ll always love making a connection with kids. One time while I was looking after a little 2 year old boy, it was about a month after I had started and he seemed still not to vulnerable with me, but he and fallen on the ground and started crying. I was so worried and checked to make sure he was okay, but he reached his arms out to me and cried into my shoulders as I calmed him. I felt so accepted by him.
