Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In high school, I took an early childhood development class and worked hands-on with 3–4-year-olds, gaining valuable tools for supporting young kids.
After that, I worked at a preschool as an assistant lead teacher with both 4–5-year-olds and 1–2-year-olds, and also floated to support other age groups as needed. I helped lead activities, manage daily routines, and engage kids through creative play, crafts, and learning-based projects. It gave me hands-on experience with a wide range of developmental stages.
I was also a full-time nanny for nearly two years, working 4–5 days a week with a lovely family who now feel like my own. I’ve since transitioned to part-time with them. They have three wonderful children—I’ve been with them since they were 2, 5, and 8 years old, and they’re now 7, 10, and 13. I’ve also helped out with occasional babysitting for date nights.

I enjoy doing creative activities with kids like painting, drawing, and fun DIY crafts that keep their minds engaged. I also love outdoor time—whether that’s going for walks, drawing with chalk, or heading to the playground to burn off energy and explore. I always try to mix fun with learning in a way that fits each child’s interests.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is being caring, nurturing, and attentive to each child’s needs while also respecting and following the family’s rules and routines. At the end of the day, I am responsible for someone’s precious child, and while I may not be a mother yet, I am a proud aunt to 14 nieces and nephews whom I love dearly.

Through my years of nannying and working at a preschool, I’ve met so many wonderful kids, each with their own unique personality. Watching them grow and evolve brings me so much joy, and it truly means the world to know that families trust me with their little ones. I know that one day, I’ll be in their shoes as a parent, but for now, I want to be that reliable, caring helping hand for families in need of a nanny they can tr

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have direct experience caring for children with special needs in a professional setting, but I’m always open to learning and supporting families however I can. I believe every child deserves patience, kindness, and understanding.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a mom told me how much her kids missed me after not seeing me for almost six months. When I babysat for them again for 10 days, one of the kids had an activity, and when his mom picked him up, he told her, “It felt so long—I just wanted to be home and spend time with Miss Veronica.” Moments like that remind me how much our time together means to them.

One of my kiddos loves drawing with me, and over the years, I’ve seen his skills improve so much. He now wants to be an artist when he grows up, and his sibling wants to be a teacher. Knowing that I played even a small part in encouraging their passions makes me so happy!
