Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have 6 years working at a summer camp under direction of an Occupational Therapist, and all the children attending camp were clients of the OT’s and diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I also have 3.5 years of experience working in clinic and in-home in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), similarly the clients had ASD as well as ranged from the ages of 2-13
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing with the children! Whether it’s joining them to expand their play with toys in the home, incorporating sensory play, social emotional learning through music, or crafts I love them all and to keep engagement from the kiddos up with fun activities and positive attention. Also taking those same experiences outside when the weather is fitting! Walking to parks and the local library is also a fan favorite.

Getting to watch the growth and development in the kids socially and cognitively and knowing that I was a part of that progress at some point in their long and successful lives!
