Babysitter Job: The Zimmerman Family with 3 Children
We need some help to get our busy kids all the places they need to go:
*Monday afternoons: pick up children from school take them home and then to sports practice. (SW/NWPDX)
*Most Wednesdays: pick up children from school and take to sports practice. (SW/NW PDX)
*Thursday: care for child after school in our home (may also occasionally involve a pickup). (SW/NW PDX)
These ~3 hour shifts will also include driving, snack making, occasional dinner prep or light errands in neighborhood, game playing, reading, etc. We have one kid who loves to swim and would love your help getting him to the pool!
One thing to know is our kids do not attend school close to home. To pick them up and bring them home you will be required to navigate the freeway and side roads at high traffic times; the commute back and forth can occasionally take close to an hour. Cool demeanor and driving expertise is a must; we do have a mini van you could use!
*Occasional additional nights and weekends as needed.
*Kids are smart and high energy. Experience and interest in dealing with neurodiversity, will make the job easier for all of us.

I have two boys! They will be 1 and 3 this summer. I am looking for someone who is kind, caring, patient, and is fluent in Spanish to watch my boys once or twice a week during the day and one night a week so that I may take care of errands and have some evening time to myself.
Other than taking care of them and doing things like a meal or snack I'm not requiring much. There is a great park about three blocks away from our home that you can take them to. Sonora (5 years) and Omri (9 months) are sweet and fun! They both love playing at home but are also up for bike rides and walks to the park. We have a nice backyard to hang out in this summer and are looking for temporary help 20 hours/week while I train for a new job. The hours will most likely be 8-5 with some flex. Once my training is over, we may be open to continuing on for the right candidate/ depending on what my schedule will be.
