Hello! We are looking for a loving nanny to be with our two children starting this November when I return to work. Our son just turned 3 and our daughter is two months old.

Before Covid, my son was part of a nature based toddler program that was a wonderful fit. We loved that he was outdoors everyday with a really loving caretaker and 1-2 other toddler friends. They had the best life!

While finding care for our kids is our first priority, we’d also be interested in exploring an arrangement with another family so our son could be joined by a similar aged playmate, perhaps just for one or part of the days. This is all TBD based on the comfort level of the caretaker (3 is a lot!) and the ability to find an interested family.

We are still learning and growing as parents but aim for a peaceful parenting approach based on positive connection and communication. We mostly try to use natural consequences for discipline.

Our son is very verbal, focused, sweet, observant and curious. He loves to read books, all things construction, magnet tiles and Duplo. He can get very immersed in his indoor activities but is also content once you get him outside to climb trees and run. Our daughter continues to wake up to the world and is easy going and delightful.

We are conscientious about limiting our risks during covid and would like for you to do the same. We are fortunate to be working from home through at least the end of this year. I will have calls (so many calls!) and at times I’m sure this won’t work out perfectly, but hope to continue nursing and being available to my baby as much as possible throughout the day. Let’s be in good communication so the arrangement feels supportive and respectful for all of us; I understand that working while both parents are home is an unusual arrangement.

Ideally we’d find someone who sees this as a long term commitment, especially since you’ll be developing a relationship with our kids at such critical early years.

My husband and I are looking for a nanny for our 16-month-old daughter, Leela. Our Au Pair had to leave unexpectedly due to a family emergency in South Africa and we are left without child care. We are looking for someone to start immediately and to work Monday - Friday approximately 8 AM - 5 PM. We are loving, caring, and kind family who is very loyal to our child's caretaker. We understand the importance of your job and value you greatly in our household. Because of COVID-19, my husband and I are both working from home. I am a Middle School Principal and my husband works in strategy. I am still nursing 4-6 times per day and I have scheduled my work day around Leela's nursing schedule.

Responsibilities include prepping meals for Leela and doing her laundry. She is taking one nap a day for around 1-2 hours so there is uninterrupted time within the day to help with the responsibilities.

Hoping to find a full time nanny/nanny share 4 days a week with a nanny and family who are comfortable practicing social distancing as much as possible during the COVID19 pandemic. Ideally we need a nanny this winter 2020 for our son who is 18 months old. We live in north Portland, looking for a nanny who lives close, has their own reliable transportation, and wants to care for our active little boy while we both work. We need childcare Tuesday-Friday 7a-3p. We would be open to a nanny share with a family with one child around the same age. Thanks for considering our family.

I am a single mother who is also a Full time mom at home. My son is two years of age and he’s very shy at first but super friendly once he gets comfortable. My son favors being around boys or men rather than women. He’s less fussy that way. If you have a safe place of your own I would like to drop him off and pick up from you.

My husband and I just had a beautiful baby boy on October 6, 2018. We only have the one child. We will be able to stay home with him until January 21st and then sporadically until July 2019. The following dates we will need a nanny:

January 21 - March 22
April 1 - 12
April 29 - May 24

Beginning July 1st, 2019, we will need a full-time nanny for a minimum of two years. We would consider a live-in or live-out arrangement.

We are out of the house from approximately 7:45 through

days a week. It would be helpful to have someone who is able to stay overtime when needed. Of course, there will be compensation for this. Also, I will need my son driven to my office during my lunch break for feedings. My office is only about a mile from my home.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, creative and supportive. Second languages and a related college degree are a plus. We prefer someone with at least 5 years related experience with infants and will need a clean background check. This site does not give an option for a salary range. We are looking for someone between $15-25 per hour.

I will be pumping at work, so it will be bottle feeding for the first year with supplementing with solids beginning at 6 months. Meal preparation will be required along these lines. If you could do some light housekeeping throughout the day, that would be helpful. Just cleaning up the messes as they occur basically. We have a cat and some chickens but we will be able to care for them before and after work.

I am with a non-profit and am in need of someone to watch my 2 sweet girls for about 6-7 days from 5:45 am to 5:30pm (at latest, my husband's schedule changes daily) a month while I'm out of town. These days will be full time, and one of them is in school for 4 hours a day. My oldest daughter is autistic, so experience is preferred with special needs.
