A little bit about us

We are looking for a great full time (40 guaranteed hours a week) nanny for one child (6.5 month old daughter) in Somerville. We would prefer someone who has experience with infant care, is energetic, and creative. Additionally we would like someone who is willing to help out with light housekeeping with a focus on the baby (e.g. baby’s laundry, washing bottles, etc.). We would also like a nanny who does not smoke and is CPR certified.

Expectations: Looking for someone who is would enjoy actively engaging baby - reading books, playing with toys, singing, getting her to laugh, etc. We do not believe in “cry it out” and are looking for someone that will be highly responsive to baby’s needs. Looking for someone that is comfortable bringing baby to me to breastfeed when I am home and available. House is sometimes messy, but you are only responsible for cleaning up after yourself and any mess baby makes when you are together.
