Babysitter Job: The Zimmerman Family with 3 Children
We need some help to get our busy kids all the places they need to go:
*Monday afternoons: pick up children from school take them home and then to sports practice. (SW/NWPDX)
*Most Wednesdays: pick up children from school and take to sports practice. (SW/NW PDX)
*Thursday: care for child after school in our home (may also occasionally involve a pickup). (SW/NW PDX)
These ~3 hour shifts will also include driving, snack making, occasional dinner prep or light errands in neighborhood, game playing, reading, etc. We have one kid who loves to swim and would love your help getting him to the pool!
One thing to know is our kids do not attend school close to home. To pick them up and bring them home you will be required to navigate the freeway and side roads at high traffic times; the commute back and forth can occasionally take close to an hour. Cool demeanor and driving expertise is a must; we do have a mini van you could use!
*Occasional additional nights and weekends as needed.
*Kids are smart and high energy. Experience and interest in dealing with neurodiversity, will make the job easier for all of us.
We've been lucky to have long term relationships with our caregivers and look forward to meeting you!

We live in SE just off Hawthorne across the street from Jam in a house with a good amount of space and a fenced yard for the seemingly rare days when it’s not too hot or too cold to be outside. We have a big orange cat who loves adults but remains unsure about the baby and his new sounds and smells so he will likely be with me in my office most of the day.
