I’m currently a SAHM who will be going back to work soon. My son Kal-El is 2 & my newborn Zeus is 6 weeks. We are looking for someone for a few hours each day of the week as my husband is in school full-time. I will be working from home. During the hours the children are watched it’ll primarily be feeding, changing diapers & play time. We live in the Kenton neighborhood.

Meet my kids. I have a 4 year old boy who loves life and a 1 year old girl who loves to giggle at her brother. We are a German/American family. My husband is from Germany and I’m from Portland. We would like to have a German speaking nanny who can love our kids as her/his own. We like to be outside and going on adventures as much as possible. We are a tidy family that is particular about keeping the house clean. My husband works out of town and I’m a substitute teacher. I don’t have a specific schedule or set days that I work, but am willing to do set days. My son goes to preschool four days a week so the nanny would be responsible for drop off and pick up at school.

Rose City Park, Portland$15/hr  |  1 kid
Looking for childcare two days a week, 9-5 for our 1.5 year old, Alden. Ideally we would like someone with flexible hours. My husband's work schedule changes from week to week (but is set three months in advance). So the days may be tue/thursday one week and tue/wednesday the next etc. We do not have any pets, we have a house with a backyard that Alden loves spending time in. Alden loves reading books, imaginary play, exploring the backyard/nearby parks. He is very chatty and obsessed with learning new words. I will be working from home most of the time, so will be around and available aside from when I'm running errands or on zoom calls.

Hi! We are looking for a nanny for my 4.5yo son who has been home from daycare since March.

It is a 11-4 job, M-F. Total 25 hours/wk. We are social distancing and following all safety precautions for Covid and it is important that our nanny does the same. My son is a sweet kid who loves transformers and science experiments. Responsibilities are focused on lunch and preschool activities. Looking for someone to engage him in an educational manner.

Please drop me a message if this interests you. We might extend the arrangement to next fall until he’s ready to go to kindergarten.

Hello! I’m a new mom to a 10 month old baby girl (She will be 1 in October). Both dad and I work in a school. Since school is virtual due to Covid, we will both be home. I need someone M-Th from 8ish-12pm. It would be great if we could find someone to also do laundry while baby is sleeping and help keep up the house.

Northeast Portland, Portland$15/hr  |  1 kid
We’re looking for a family and caregiver to do a nanny share 2-3 days/week, roughly 20-24 hrs flexible between 9am - 7pm M-F with our son. Simon is a very active and friendly 2 1/2 year old. We’d really love for him to be able to enjoy playing in parks, exploring neighborhoods on walks and learning with an engaged and patient caregiver, along with another child (or siblings). We’re looking for a nanny and another family who are also diligent with social distancing, and maybe in a similar situation of having delayed daycare/preschool due to Covid.
Ideally they could spend 2 or 3 weekdays together, with the times and location flexible / up for discussion. (Our home could be a possibility for one of the days.)
We currently live near Wilshire park in Alameda, but are hoping to buy a home soon so our location isn’t permanent. We would be happy to find a family nearby, but are also willing to drive to another area for a good fit. My husband works at OHSU, so SW PDX could work as well.
Let us know if something like this sounds like it could work for you as a caregiver or for your family, thanks!

My husband and I are looking for a native Spanish speaker to watch our 1 year old girl and speak and engage with her in Spanish only. We live in NE Portland (which we love!) and we love to spend lots of time with family and friends and travel whenever we can. We are looking for a full-time M-TH 930am-4pm (times flexible), live-out nanny. Our ideal nanny would be positive, warm, affectionate and proactively help our child to develop her heart and mind through talking, teaching, reading, singing and engaging in creative and fun developmental and physical activities. They would also be patient and compassionate but will impose structure and work with us to maintain a consistent eating and napping schedule. We would prefer to nanny share if possible with one other child of similar age and with a family with similar nanny goals, needs and wants.
