A little bit about us

We have two boys, Santiago (1) and Ferdinand (3) and are looking for part-time help to care for Santiago at home.

We are a trilingual household, but Spanish and German are daily and primary languages spoken at home.
We are looking for a nanny who can speak Spanish or German in addition to English to help manifest our kids' primary languages at this early stage.

We need 20-25 hours of help per week starting in September 2026. The exact schedule can be determined further down the road, but could include half-days every day starting in the morning, or be 2-3 full days per week. We have had experience with both schedules before. For example, hours could vary from 8:00 a.m. to about 4:00 p.m.

There are instances where we may need help dropping off the older kid at school and/or picking him up from school, but that would be coordinated with you based on your availability.

Our expectations of your role do NOT go beyond child care - we want you to soley focus on taking care of Santiago.

We want our kids to spend a lot of time outside, and would like you to take the younger one to parks, music class, OMSI, libraries, farmer's markets, etc. This is why personal transportation (car + insurance) is necessary.

We are a very flexible family and respect when things come up (when life happens). What is most important to us is reliability, trustworthiness, and transparency.
We want to work with someone who can integrate to some extent with our family and feel like a part of this crazy bunch.

• Home near Multnomah Village
