We are first-time parents and are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable nanny to care for our 1-year-old son.
The ideal nanny will be attentive and mindful of the baby’s cues and developmental stages and provide us with feedback, and guidance throughout the baby’s growth and development. Communication, collaboration skills are important!
Baby is curious and loving; he liked to be engaged, read books, and learn new things. He has a big appetite and as long as he is well fed he is happy.
We are looking for someone with a background in infant care, who we can trust to support the baby’s health, happiness, and development every day. Nanny should value structure but be willing to be flexible and adapt to his developmental needs.
No driving is required, but the nanny is encouraged to explore the Alameda neighborhood close to home.
There is one pet in the home, she is an 11-year-old lab who keeps to herself.
We do need someone who is up to date on vaccinations, including COVID-19. Following CDC recommendations regarding vaccine booster shots is also required. CPR certification is also important.

I have a 10 year old boy who is an introvert and doesn't like to go outside much so I'm going to need someone who can initiate outside walks or something of that nature . He has a hard time getting to sleep at night ( if required) I will need a sitter who can initiate bedtime. I will pretty much only need a sitter for the weekend days because he'll be in school from Monday-Friday. There is a possibility that I will need care after school but there is a chance he can get into the after school program. If that happens I will it need care on the weekends. We are with two kittens so you have to not be allergic and be ok with kittens around. Other than that I am looking for a trustworthy Individual who is positive, uplifting, genuine, creative, problem-solving, and kind. Thank You in advance.
