A little bit about us
We have a 20 month old son who loves spending time with a playmate. Our nanny is awesome!!! She is bilingual (English/Spanish), very experienced, really sweet and fun with the kids, and great at coming up with activities and bilingual learning for them throughout the day, along with lots of (safe) outdoor playtime. She prepares and feeds breakfast, lunch, and snacks
independently, but following our guidelines. She follows instructions well and is experienced enough to make her own judgement calls when needed. Very trustworthy and dependable, and easy and reliable with communication. Currently she works 7:30 - 3:30, and I watch the kids after that if the other family picks up late. This could be adjusted if needed.
I am a high school teacher in PG county and my husband and I both currently work from home (on a different floor from where the kids hang out). Both our family and the nanny's family take covid precautions very seriously and would expect the same of the new family.
We currently pay her $15 an hour total, but split this evenly between the two families.
We are looking for a toddler, boy or girl, who is relatively close in age. We are open to more flexible schedules or less than full time care, but prefer a family who could continue our current M-F, 7:30 - 3:30 hours. The nanny has also been willing to work overtime any time we have asked.
