A little bit about me
I specialize in babies and toddlers (0–2 years). I have a very soft spot for the littlest ones and plenty of experience with twins and children with physical disabilities.
As a mom, I know you're looking for peace of mind. I’m here to be that extra set of calm hands. I also love to speak and sing in Spanish with the kids so they can pick up a second language naturally while we play!
I’d love to help your little one feel safe, happy, and loved.

A little bit about me
I graduated high school in 2025 and I’m currently taking online classes through ACC to become a dental hygienist. I’m CPR certified, have reliable transportation, and I’m able to cook simple meals and help with homework if needed.
Right now I watch two little girls Monday–Friday from 3:00–5:45, so that time works best for me, but I’m available anytime before or after that. I’m also available on weekends.
I’d love the chance to help out and care for your kids!

A little bit about me
I’m 18 years old, and I’ve been working as a nanny since I was about 15. My mom has been a professional nanny for over 30 years, and I started by helping her with many of the families she’s worked for. I can also provide a letter of recommendation from her if needed.
I’m currently attending school to become a medical assistant nurse, but I’m looking for a part-time nanny position because I truly love working with children. I’m very active and enjoy spending time outdoors whether that’s playing soccer, basketball, going to the playground, or doing other fun activities.
I’m experienced with all ages, including newborns. I know how to change diapers, make bottles, and provide gentle, reliable care. I also frequently babysit for my family members and love being around kids of all ages.
I’m responsible, patient, and also pet-friendly. I would be very excited for the opportunity to meet your family and care for your little ones!
Best regards,
Daniela

Understand Babysitter Responsibilities in Austin, TX
Before beginning the search for a babysitter, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a babysitter is the right choice for your child care needs. There are lots of benefits to hiring a babysitter such as getting the flexibility of having some more time for yourself or with your partner. When hiring a babysitter, first, you should explore the differences between a nanny and a babysitter. If you’re looking for occasional child care, babysitters are the right choice for you, but if you’re looking for more frequent care, a nanny may be better for your needs.
From there, you can think about what you expect your babysitter to handle so that you can create a profile for nannies to reach out to you. The boundaries for babysitters’ duties can vary from family to family. However, in general, a babysitter is responsible for making sure your kids’ needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example to housekeeping, laundry, or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your babysitter before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location in Austin can impact how much you pay your babysitter.
Austin Babysitter Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective babysitters, the next step is to conduct an interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some babysitter interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a babysitter?
- What sort of household tasks are you open and comfortable doing?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Texas?
- Do you have a Texas driver’s license? Do you own a car?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a babysitter that you’re considering hiring, make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your babysitter. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around babysitter responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming!
And of course, as you learn how to hire a babysitter, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
