A little bit about me…

(Condensed version due to 1000 word limit)…

Hello, I’m Vanessa! Proud Mom of two! My daughter, 13 yrs. and my son, 12. Both attend Mission Hill Middle school. A few months ago, the rent went up and we were forced to move back to San Jose. I continue to commute my children to and from San Jose to Santa Cruz everyday for school and because I am unemployed at the moment and gas prices are ridiculous, I spend my time in the area while waiting for my kids to finish school so that I am not having to make multiple trips back and forth. My availability is 9am-2pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 9am-12pm / 12:30pm on Wednesdays. It’s been so difficult to find a position that works around my Children’s school schedule. I am a genuine, honest, loyal, loving and kind person and as I am all of these things to my own children, I would not be any less to yours! I do appreciate your time and consideration and hope to speak with you soon.

Kind Regards,
Vanessa (Ness) Carson

A little bit about me…

Hello I'm Emily! I'm a UCSC student majoring in Psychology hoping to spend my free time with awesome kids. I was a preschool teacher, where I gained most of my skills. I've worked with two different families throughout my time at university. A few things about me are that I am very gentle and nurturing regarding children. I love to play and find new and fun activities to activate those sensory-motor skills.

A little bit about me…

Hi! I am very passionate, enthusiastic, and energetic. What I'm looking for is a full time position. I would love to work throughout the week something like 9-3 or even a bit earlier works. I'm open to a live in situation but I am married so ideally it would have to be a space for my husband and I like a guest suite on the property. We would love to work together like taking them hiking with us or traveling as a travel family nanny. My ideal situation would be to work full time with your children and travel as well with you. I love working one on one with kids in the early development stages. I am not a typical Nanny or babysitter, I will do activities and lesson plans with kids to learn. I am fun and often find kids feel safe and comfortable with me. I will do my best to protect and keep your kids safe and having fun!

A little bit about me…

Reliable, friendly, patient marketing professional and mother of a 21-year-old college student. Looking for occasional care jobs while searching for a flexible corporate job. As a mom of a child who went to Montessori, public school, and University (opera), I chaperoned choir trips to Europe, music lessons, and kids' theater. I have a BA in Literature from UC Irvine, lived in Germany for a year, and speak some German and French. For 25 years, I've managed sales, marketing, events, and websites related to music, education, tech, and retail for corporate and family businesses, so I’m a good multitasker and calm under pressure. I was a sitter in my teens, including autistic children. I've had cats, dogs, and fish. Happy to help with cooking, light cleaning, chaperoning zoom lessons, transportation, and shopping (I am a Costco member). My SUV seats 7 (or 5 with groceries and a stroller). Passed Red Cross Adult, Child, and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED.

A little bit about me…

Hi! My name is Zoe and I am looking for a family to help out part-time starting August 2021! I am a second-year at UCSC studying Legal Studies and French.
I am looking to help out once or twice a week, preferably for 'date nights,' or for occasional tutoring, as I will be continuing my work with another family twice a week.
I am available usually Mon/Wed/Fri, but only until classes start on Sep. 23, but can still do date nights.
My experience has been with infants (7 mo-1 y/o) as well as older kids (6 y/o - 12 y/o). I am happy to tutor your kids, play with your kids, run errands, perform household duties, and prepare food. I live in the Seabright neighborhood, provide my own transportation, and have a fairly flexible schedule until classes start in September. I am punctual, enthusiastic, and vaccinated.
I will be ready to start whenever and I am happy to meet socially distanced or on zoom beforehand to get to know each other. I am looking forward to meeting you and your kids!

Zoe
