A little bit about me

My name is Alex Phoenix and I am an Early Childhood Education/ Special Education graduate from the University of Delaware. I am also a recent graduate with a Master's in Primary & Secondary School Counseling from Wilmington University. In Delaware, I am teacher-certified for ages Birth-5th, including working with children with special needs. I have had a passion for working with children since I attended a vocational school in New Jersey, where I was accepted into their Child Related Careers Academy. I would love to find a family to develop a close relationship with them and their child(ren). I just moved to Brooklyn in July 2024. I am looking for a short-term position, 35 hours or less per week.

A little bit about me

I am a childcare expert with 20 + years of experience. In search of my next long-term family, as I would love to stay in Los Angeles permanently. I am a dedicated, detail-oriented, nurturing nanny who is ready to foster your child's needs and support your family in the way you need. I am flexible, punctual, and committed. I have experience with twins.

In addition to my hands-on experience with children as a professional nanny, I am a certified childbirth educator and enrolled in courses to become a doula and breastfeeding counselor through The International Doula Institute. I am currently in NYC, fulfilling a temporary contract through the end of January 2025. Willing to do a live-in position if accommodations are a studio or guesthouse and will allow me to bring my little dog Milo, who is well-behaved and trained, he has references.

I look forward to discussing further how I can meet your family's needs.

Best,
Tanesha

A little bit about me

I started babysitting at 15 years old. I have a very large family with many siblings and cousins. They were the first children I ever cared for on my own. At the age of 15 I also landed my first daycare job in a daycare center in the Bedstuy neighborhood. I was allowed to work their through my enrollment in the summer youth program. It was one of the most enjoyable jobs I have every maintained. Once the program ended I continued to babysit for family and friends. When I was 21 and I moved out on my own I began babysitting for my neighbors. I continued to babysit in my spare time outside of working my fulltime job that was not in the childcare field. At the age of 30 I had my own child and landed my first job as a nanny. I gained a massive amount of experience caring for my own infant and the infant child I nannied for. It was the most beautiful experience I have ever had working in my life. Infants are very demanding. Some days were beyond amazing and other days were tough but I genuinely loved every minute of it.

I am looking for a childcare position were I can provide my services and experience and bring my own 15 month old child. I do not have my own childcare but I am excellent at providing this service and more than capable of doing so while caring for my own child. The children’s happiness, safety, and learning development is my highest priority. I hope that I am able to provide my services somewhere that is a good fit for the family/families I care for and myself and my son.
