A little bit about me

Hello hello families!
My name is Sofi, I’m 28 and I’m originally from Argentina (so I speak Spanish but I’m fluent in English as well since I speak it since was 18 months old) and I’m looking for a new family (or share) to start working with soon!

I was an Au pair for FOUR years in the state of MD as well as CO. Besides, I also have over 10 years of experience watching kids from (7 months to 14 y.o) , CPR/first aid certified and fully COVID vaccinated + boosted.

I am super sweet and funny. I also have a great sense of responsibility and patience, so children will be well looked after. I'm someone in which families can rely on, since I feel very confident when working with them. I also love spending time outside so a family that would be ok with me taking the kids out on walks or play dates would be awesome.

Due to my 13 years experience my rates are:
19$/hr for nanny share (each family)
30$/hr for one kid
33$/hr for 2 children
35$/hr for 3 children

Hope to hear from you

"- this is an ongoing position so I put todays date - Sofi is our weekend nanny. We have a full time live in nanny couple service but during the weekends they are off and that’s when sofi comes. I got 3 daughters (10, 8 and now 2.5 but she was 18 months when she started). Sofi mainly stays with my little one while we ran errands, dance classes, rehearsals and work. We are surgeons who are on call mostly on the weekends. Sofi comes over for 4/5 hours to stay with the baby. She loves her so much, and we do too. We found out that my girlie will cry as if someone was murdering her while we are there but, as soon as we leave the house (or sofi does) - 30 seconds later she texts us look at her now and looks like nothing has ever happened. Sofi goes on walks around the neighborhood to get her to fall asleep in the stroller, diaper changes, prepares snacks to bring to the park. We love her and the 3 girls told me they’ve never had a nanny who’d let them brush their hair and sofi did haha!"

A little bit about me

It’s been a while since I’ve nannied. I love children and believe every moment with them is a learning opportunity for both of us. I believe in gentle parenting and the importance of learning. I am imaginative in creating activities, I can clean meticulously, I can do basic cooking and baking, and I enjoy activities like reading and listening to music. I’d like to think I have a special bond with children, and have always wanted children of my own.

"Miss Kristy took excellent care of our infant- who she cared for from when he was 3 months to 14 months. Her home was always clean and welcoming. Our son never got sick during his time there with two other kids (that does NOT happen anymore since he’s now in a larger school, and we realize now how so important that was during his early months). She is perfect for the little ones and used to be a nurse so we really trusted her with our boy. Also, her family was very nice and we trustee them too (her daughter even babysat for us on weekends!). I highly recommend Kristy!"
