A little bit about me

My current family is coming to an end so I’m currently looking for a full time or part time position to start in the next few weeks. A little bit about me - I’m originally from Oregon and I’ve been out here for about 2.5 years now. I did move here with a couple of family members but other than that, it is just me so I really do like to build family like relationships with my families! I dont have any kids of my own but I do have my own fur boy so I am open to pet sitting as well! I have been nannying for over 6 years now ranging from premies and up but I do specialize more so in infant care. I am cpr, first aid and aed certified. I am vaccinated as well. My rate does start at $20/hr and can vary depending on duties, number of children, and travel distances. Thank you!❤️

A little bit about me

I'm the type of person that would rather choose to hang with kids all day then sit in a boring office. When I was 17 my mom got pregnant with my little sister and I quit school my senior year and got my GED to stay home and take care and watch my baby sister for 2 years so I have tons of experience when it comes to newborns but I truly don't mind any age (I’m also almost 23 now). I have always been the go to baby sitter when it comes to family or friends so I have no problem with kids. Not CPR certified :( but other than that I'm willing to help with light house work, car pooling, making meals/snacks etc. Hope to meet you and your baby/babies soon :)

"We hired Reece to take care of our 3.5 month old while we were working in Jacksonville for the weekend, at the hotel we were staying at. We have a nanny at home so it was a little scary to hire someone brand new to watch our baby but she made us feel so comfortable, Facetiming us beforehand to get to know eachother. Instantly when she arrived, our baby smiled huge at her and was excited to play with her. He had a really hard weekend but she was so sweet to him, and took great care of him. I was also nervous because we put a lot of trust in her to show up when she said she would (these days that can unfortunately be uncommon) and we were working so really needed her. She was on time, worked well with our schedule nuances and just overall was amazing to work with. I highly recommend her - reach out if you want to talk further !"

A full-time nanny can offer support with housekeeping, errands and other household responsibilities, similar to mother’s helpers, au-pairs, and live-in nannies. Contracts for Full-Time Nannies in Jacksonville, FL

When finalizing the details of your full-time nanny position, it’s important to make sure that everyone is on the same page. The easiest way to do this is to create a job offer for your full-time nanny position.

In your full-time nanny job offer, you should communicate the responsibilities and compensation. In writing out the responsibilities of your full-time nanny, you might also choose to add some responsibilities that are specific to your families’ needs like if you expect your full-time nanny to travel with you and the details around travelling with your live-in nanny. If you want to run a background check on the candidates for your full-time nanny position, you can give a job offer that is contingent upon the results of the background check.

When considering what it means for your full-time nanny when you take vacation, you should also consider how you want to handle their vacation time, and other aspects of their compensation. This includes a full-time nanny salary, over-time, benefits, and any expenses like food and gas. After presenting your job offer, you can create a contract for your full-time nanny to create the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. And of course, as you learn how to hire a full-time nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.

Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny

Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility.
