We are seeking a loving, experienced, and reliable nanny to care for our infant daughter, Peregrine, born September 27, 2024. This is a part-time position based in Noe Valley, San Francisco, ideal for someone who is passionate about childcare, attentive to developmental milestones, and able to assist with household tasks to help keep our home running smoothly. We are looking for someone who values flexibility and can adapt to varying weekly schedules while maintaining approximately 110 hours per month.
About Us:
We are a warm, welcoming family of four, including our 4-month-old daughter, Peregrine, and her big sister, Piper, who is almost 4 years old and attends preschool full-time. We live in Noe Valley and value open communication, kindness, and creating a loving home environment. We are looking for a nanny who will become part of our family and help care for Peregrine.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, one-on-one care for Peregrine, including feeding, diaper changes, and soothing.
Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities, such as tummy time, sensory play, and reading.
Maintain a consistent daily routine while being adaptable to changing schedules.
Take Peregrine outdoors regularly for fresh air and age-appropriate activities
Monitor baby’s health, safety, and well-being at all times.
Assist with household tasks, including basic meal prep and light cleaning
Communicate openly with parents about daily routines, milestones, and any concerns.
Schedule & Compensation:
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust hours week-to-week based on family needs (e.g., fewer hours one week, more hours the next). Core hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–2:00 pm, with prior coordination for changes.
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Part-time hours: You can pick either 8 AM - 5 PM or 3 PM - 8 PM, depending on whether you're a morning person or if you prefer to handle the evening craziness.

Additional things we may ask for your help with: Tidying the house, helping with kid-related organization (like folding laundry, changing out their clothes seasonally, organizing toys, etc)
Mainly, we want you to be a safe driver, great with preschoolers, and excited to help our busy family keep everything moving. We are also looking for help in the evenings, including with cooking dinners, so please let us know what you're looking for.
