A little bit about us

Our amazing house manager/nanny is leaving us for a corporate job, and we are looking for a house manager/nanny to help our family! We have a 9-year-old son in 3rd grade at French American, and 2 dogs. We both have pretty busy jobs and need help with the following: (1) Driving our son to and from school and activities in the mornings and afternoons (he plays on a competitive soccer team and has 3 practices per week after school, plus other after school activities). There are other activities that will start/end throughout the year. (2) Projects and errands for our home (dry cleaning, packages, groceries, organizing) (3) Keeping our house running with day-to-day responsibilities (projects, errands, folding laundry, making lunches, picking up) (4) Feeding/walking our dogs We have a regular housekeeper and a dog walker but this job includes picking up, some laundry, keeping things organized, and some meal prep. The hours will be consistent at approximately 15-25 hours per week (sometimes more) - afternoons and evenings, plus any mornings that you can do school dropoff. The schedule may vary from week to week beyond the regular hours with evening hours as needed. Must have your own car and be an excellent/safe driver. You must be comfortable with dogs, be an excellent communicator, and be very organized. Strong preference for someone who is also available for the occasional weekend evening and/or overnight if we are traveling.

A little bit about us

Noe Valley family looking for a part-time nanny for our three daughters (ages 5, 7, 11). All three kids attend local schools until mid afternoon, typically followed by some after-school activities - the kids are very rarely home at the same time!

We are looking for someone who is kind and firm. Ideally someone who understands kids of varying ages and can be supportive and energetic when it comes to being creative, having fun, solving problems and getting things done.

The ideal candidate will have their driver’s license and be comfortable driving our vehicle (driving background check required). Responsibilities will include managing play dates, school pick up, some driving to activities (we often have car pool support) kids laundry etc.

Standard hours will be 1pm-6pm but ideally will have occasional flexibility to the schedule.

We’d love to hear from you (or if you know someone who is looking), please let us know.
