A little bit about us
In addition to childcare, we would love someone who is willing to help with light baby-related household tasks such as her laundry, putting away her clothes, prepping her food, tidying up toys and baby areas, and other light housekeeping as needed. She has not started solids yet, but we will be introducing them in June. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is CPR certified and has experience with introducing solids to babies. We would love someone who can spend quality, engaging time with our daughter during her wake windows. This could include reading books, practicing sitting up, singing and listening to music, age-appropriate sensory activities or crafts, playing outside, and going for walks around the park. We are located on the east side of Castle Rock near North Ridge Road, and care would take place in our home.
We are looking for help 2 days/week and are flexible on which days. Any two days Monday - Thursday would work, though ideally we would love someone to come Monday + Wednesday or Tuesday + Thursday. Hours are somewhat flexible and open for discussion, but ideally we are looking for coverage from around 8:00/8:30 AM until 3:30/4:00 PM, roughly 14 to 16 hours per week. Most days, we only need help until she goes down for her last nap around 3:30/3:45 PM.
I work from home upstairs in my office and will typically be hands on throughout the day. I come downstairs often to nurse her, as she is still breastfeeding. I usually wrap up my workday around 4:00 PM. If this sounds like a good fit for you or someone you know, please contact me. Thank you!
