We have a 1 month old who is currently at home with mom while she’s on maternity leave, as well as a 2.5 year old who is currently in daycare. We also have 2 dogs, but they share a room off the house and won’t be much of an issue for anyone who we hire.
We are looking for someone who can be at our house beginning at 7am until about 5:30 pm Mon-Fri.

We are a North Austin family looking for warm, dependable postpartum help. We are open to hiring one person for everything or two people with different focuses. For a mothers helper, we need help about 2 days per week for 3 hours with light cleaning, laundry, folding and putting away clothes, simple meal prep, dishes, organizing, errands, grocery pickup, and occasionally driving our 8-year-old son to activities. Someone comfortable with newborn care could receive more hours, likely 34 days per week. I will be the babys primary caregiver and usually home, but may need help holding, soothing, or changing the baby while I shower, rest, or complete tasks. Later regular date nights or date afternoons would be added. Please share your availability, experience, hourly rate, and whether you prefer household help, childcare, or both.
