Hi there! We’re a kind, respectful family based in Central Austin seeking a loving, reliable, and engaged nanny to care for our curious and joyful 1-year-old son. Both parents work from home most of the time, and we’re hoping to find someone who can become a trusted part of our daily rhythm.
What We’re Looking For:

• Portuguese speaker preferred – we’d love for our son to be exposed to a second language in a natural, playful way
• Responsible and dependable – punctuality and consistency are very important to us
• Light housekeeping – dishes, occasional laundry, tidying toys, and keeping baby’s areas organized
Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday: 9 AM – 5 PM
• Friday: 9 AM – 1 PM
(We can be flexible with hours, but value reliability.)
Compensation:
• Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications

Interviewing for a Housekeeper Nanny Position in Austin, TX
After talking to a few employers, you’ll be invited for a housekeeping nanny job interview. Here are a few housekeeping nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What qualities do you have that make you a good housekeeping nanny?
- What do you enjoy about looking after a home?
- How many years of experience do you have with house cleaning?
In a housekeeping nanny job interview, you’ll have the opportunity to provide your nanny references and ask any questions that you would like to know about them. If you decide after this interview that you would like to continue, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can ensure that you’re getting off on the right foot with your future employer.
