We are seeking a Thursday afternoon summer caregiver to supplement our au pair’s hours. Seeking a June - early September Thursday caregiver for a daytime shift(1 pm - 6 pm) in Vienna (June-mid-July) and then McLean (mid-July-early Sept) for our beautiful, sweet, spirited and smart 2-year-old girl. We will be moving to McLean in July so you would start in Vienna and then jthe ob would move to McLean. This is a Thursday position, 5 hour shift. Must be experienced with wiggly and active toddlers (2-year-olds), reliable, attentive and engaging, loving, patient, organized, able to follow a routine, team-player, willing to take direction and be proactive. Responsibilities include basic meal prep and light household duties during naps; developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities. CPR and first aid certified, COVID and flu-vaccinated. We are looking for someone about 30+ hours a week. A schedule would look like M-W 8-4 and Th/F 11-4 — it would be flexible at times and changeable depending on your schedule and our schedule. My son is 1 year old. We'd also be looking for someone to do light housekeeping for the kids things (laundry, tidying up play area/toys, washes kids dishes), and making meals (doesn't have to be big meals but something healthy for the kids). Open to hosting another family in our home, or splitting time as long as it's nearby Maple Ave and Lawyers Rd.
Hours would be somewhat flexible, but if fixed times are requested, would want something between 9a-5p M-F.
Notes... we do have a 16 lb shih tzu/bichon mix who is very friendly and playful. Must be comfortable around dogs, but won't be expected to take care of the dog.
