A little bit about us

Meet my kids they are 5, 2, and 5 months. My 2 oldest are crazy active boys they love dinosaurs, space, and running around. My oldest is high functioning autistic and can have some heavy meltdowns. All my kids have a celiac so they will need to be fed a specific diet. We love to be active when the weather is good and enjoy the park, pool, and just being outside. We will need a nanny 2-4 days a week for 8 hours a day some days will start at 6am and would require you to take my 5 year old to school and pick him up, feed all 3 kids, and get them ready. Some days you will only need to pick him up and be here till 10pm in which they will need a bath and be put to bed. I'm looking for someone who can keep up with them feed them and do some light house work mostly just cleaning up after you feed them. I also have a dog so you would need to be okay with dogs and assist with my oldest feeding her and taking her out.

We are a big loving family and we just want someone who can handle our family and be great to our kids. We are just starting this new journey of mommy not being home and so this is a big change for all 3 and so we want to find someone who can come in and make themselves like family to our kids.

Hi! Looking for childcare for my sweet , bubbly 1yr. Old . Her name is Beautiful! Needing childcare for different schedules but my job currently doesn't have a set schedule so day by day hours . Eventually ill have a set schedule but for now it's sparatic Minimum house work, dishes, & laundry is all that's needed. Maybe pull out the meat so I can cook when I get home. This is our first experience with anyone keeping her besides my mother, so I'm looking for a grandmother, mother feel. Prefer you to have your own vehicle incase of emergencies. Any questions, please feel free to ask.

Hi! I’m a NICU nurse and mom of two wonderful daughters, with a baby boy on the way. I’m looking for childcare starting in the fall when I return to work after maternity leave. I’ll need help 3 days a week, with occasional weekend care when I’m scheduled to work. My shifts are 7 AM to 7:30 PM, but care wouldn’t be needed until around 9 AM.

We’re looking for someone reliable, nurturing, and good with children. Occasional help with meals and light activities would be great.

A little bit about us

We are seeking a part-time nanny to watch over our adorable two boys on Thursdays and Fridays from 7am-5 or 5:30 p.m. We welcomed our first child on August 8, 2018, and recently added a new addition to our family on April 7, 2022. We are seeking a nanny who leads by example, is loving, caring, and attentive, and is interested in developing and nurturing a long-term bond with our children. Our 3-year-old attends preschool from 7:30-3 p.m. on Mondays, Wed, and Fridays, and will need a snack when he arrives home. He is dismissed at noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will need lunch followed by nap when he arrives home. We are seeking a nanny with an impeccable driving record, as picking-up from school would be required, and COVID-19 vaccination is required.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Lexington, KY

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Lexington, KY

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Lexington, KY? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
