A little bit about us

I have a 2 month old baby girl, and im trying to go back to work. I work roughly 25 hours a week but it can fluctuate a little. I waitress at Olive Garden and my schedule can change but for the most part is consistent. Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday and very rarely Sunday. I work mornings every day except Friday and occasionally Thursday or Sunday. I need care for her at my home with someone who speaks Spanish preferably and is comfortable working with breast milk and an infant.

A little bit about us

My boyfriend and I are looking for childcare next year for Monday, Thursday, and Friday. It can be in our home or yours. We do have four dogs that are all just a bunch of loafs that want to sleep.

Hours would be from 8:30-4:30, we are looking for someone that has experience, knows infant CPR, has references, etc. I’m hoping to go back to work at the end of March which is when we would need help.

9-month old and newborn on the way. Wife is stay at home. Just need some help on random days with kid(s) and a helping hand. The schedule is very flexible. Near UK. The days could be as short as 2 hours to maybe 4-5 hours. Again, whatever. Since wife stays at home, your help could be any time of the week. Also, we could be reasonably flexible on schedule changes.

A little bit about us

Patrick and I are expecting our first child in September and are seeking a nanny share starting this fall in November or December. We both love the outdoors and frequently go fishing, camping, hiking, hunting, kayaking, you name it! We are looking for another family to share a nanny together and are hoping to find someone caring, kind, and responsible. We are willing to host at our house or travel to the other family's. We do have a 52lb dog (lab mix) who is the most gentle and sweetest dog you will meet! We joke she actually loves kids more than us. Patrick is a full time UK grad student and I work full time so hrs would be 7:30-3:30 or 5pm (my hrs are flexible). Please reach out if you are interested in doing a nanny share this fall!

A little bit about us

Our household is completely vaccinated. We will like our nanny to be vaccinated as well, mask are required as well. My wife and I are expecting our newborn at the end of June. For the first eight weeks we will both be home. However, I will have to return to work in September. During the week, we would like help with care of baby, light cleaning, and light meal prep. Hours worked and days worked is negotiable.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Lexington, KY

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Lexington, KY

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Lexington, KY? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
