A little bit about us
We are currently looking for childcare for our two amazing, young little boys when they can’t be at daycare due to sickness and or when the daycare closes for holidays and training days. We have a 13 month old and a 27month old (2 year old) needing daytime care when daycare is closed or when they’re sick.
We have cameras in the home and need you to be okay with that, we have read too many stories. . Mom and or dad will pop in time to time if we forget something. Must have experience with multiple young children (2 or more) at one time.
Our toddler, Oliver, will need meals prepped and served, cleaned up after, one on one playtime, educational activities/play, frequent diaper changes, and some outdoor time, as well as occasional sensory stimulation and possibly craft time during the week.
Our 13month old Oakley, will need the same care. He needs frequent diaper changes, fed, sippy cups filled and play time.
You’d be in our home with 3 cats who are very friendly but don’t need any care.
Light house duties are a must. Clean up any messes the children may make, including dishes and floor/food messes with possibility of other small responsibilities.
Cpr and first aid is required. if you're not certified you must be willing to complete training prior to the start of work.
We practice gentle parenting and would want our nanny/sitter to practice these same principles.
Will be conducting interviews in the next couple weeks.
Please inquire if interested
This is not full or part time. This is an as needed bases, maybe last minute call ins.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Myersville, MD? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
