A little bit about us

We are a health-conscious family living in Indian Hills, Edina, eagerly awaiting the arrival of our newborn in November. As we embrace a natural and organic lifestyle, we are seeking a long-term nanny who shares our values to care for our growing family, which also includes two beloved dogs.

Steve, a native of Edina, works remotely for a finance firm, while Brianna spends most days at her chemical engineering firm. Steve's brother and parents also reside in Edina, providing a wonderful support system and the opportunity for our child to grow up close to extended family.

We are looking for a nanny who is available weekdays from 9am to 4pm to provide loving care for our little one in a nurturing environment that aligns with our lifestyle choices.

Additionally, we are open to the idea of a nanny share with a family that has similar interests and time requirements. We believe this arrangement could provide a wonderful opportunity for socialization and shared experiences for our children.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, experienced, and passionate about promoting a healthy and natural approach to childcare. If you are a nurturing individual who is excited about joining our family, supporting our values, and being a part of our child's journey as they grow up alongside extended family, we would love to hear from you.

Please reach out to us to discuss this opportunity further and to schedule an interview. We look forward to meeting you and finding the perfect fit for our family!

A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking for a 3-day-a-week, ~8:30-4:30 nanny share starting in July, August, or September for our second child, due to be born in April (so they will be 3-5 months old when we hope to start care). We live near 13th Ave and University in Sheridan and would love to find another family nearby that is interested in hosting, since we both currently work from home. We previously hosted a nanny share for almost 3 years for our older child, who is now 4.5 and entering kindergarten, and it was a wonderful experience for all of us.

A little bit about us

Looking for infant daycare for the month of September only. Our daughter will be 3 months old and we will both be back to work by early September but can’t start at the daycare we booked until the end of the month. Open to having care come to our home (in Richfield) or bringing her to someone else’s home in the Minneapolis area. Hours would likely be around 7:30-4:30, M-Th. Please let me know if you are interested or know someone who may be interested in this temporary job!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Minneapolis, MN

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Minneapolis, MN

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Minneapolis, MN? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
