A little bit about us

I have two children. I work from home and need some extra support and hands on attention for my children. My son is potty trained with reminders and my daughter needs a bit more support with walking. My son is 2.5 years old and my daughter just turned 1 year old.

It will definitely be Monday-Friday. Times unsure as I work 8am to 5pm. I am either looking for help that whole time or from 2pm to 5pm as both children sleep from 12pm to 2pm. The afternoon are a struggle at the moment.

My expectations is to feed, play and keep them safe, teach them things, sing songs just have fun with them. I am home and my office is in the living room and im always willing to help.

I do have 2 cats both will most likely hide in my room. Having a car is a must. Open to having your little one join if you can handle that.

A little bit about us

I will be solo parenting for a time and could use some small breaks where you would watch one or both children. The schedule can be flexible depending on when errands need to be run for me as well as when you would be available.
I have a little boy and he is super chill. Loves to be a part of the conversation and cuddle. he would live outside if we let him.
I would be looking for little tasks like possibly helping me water my herbs or tiny little pick ups around the house. Switching the laundry. possibly chopping veggies lol.

What is an Infant Nanny in Dunn, NC

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Dunn, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
