A little bit about us

Hi! My husband works from home full time but is pretty locked in inside his office and won’t bother you! I work in sales for an Ed tech company and I am in the office 2-3 days a week (Tuesday- Thursday) looking for childcare on those days from 8am- 6pm (flexible on exact hours). We are expecting our first child (a girl) in May of 2025 and will need childcare beginning in August. We are flexible, excited first time parents looking to partner with an experienced caregiver. We also have a beautiful 3 year old kitty that requires no care from you but is friendly and hypoallergenic. No expectations of pickup/ drop off or pet care. If you are willing to do very light house work (folding clean baby clothes, cleaning bottles) that would be a plus!

A little bit about us

Hi! We have 2 boys. One is in preschool 4 days a week and the other is still a baby. We have a fenced in backyard with a sandbox and multiple indoor playrooms. We both work from home a couple days a week. We are looking for a caring nanny to look after our boys during the week while we work. Some preschool pickups and drop offs may eventually be required, and we will provide car seats. The boys are mostly easy, they love to play outside and play in their playrooms. The oldest is potty trained (mostly) and the baby is still in diapers. The baby takes a combination of formula and solids. They are sweet, smart, and playful, and they do best when they’re able to run around outside! We also have 2 dogs and 3 cats but don’t need much in regards to pet care other than making sure the cats don’t get out, and maybe shuffling the dogs up/down stairs so they don’t bark during naps, etc.

A little bit about us

Our family is seeking a mature and loving nanny for full-time (32 hours per week) care of our 7-month-old in South Park beginning the third week of August. This will be for a 9-month contract through May (there will be the option to renew for the following year). This position is ideal for someone who is looking for long weekends and summers off to travel/spend with family/etc.

We will need care on Mon/Tues/Weds/Thurs from 7:30 am-3:30 pm. Guaranteed 32 hours per week, with the option to add hours on Fridays or for date nights, if the nanny has availability and wishes to do so. Reliability is extremely important to our family. Both parents work from home and will be on a separate level of the home most of the day, but will occasionally visit with the baby during the day as our schedules allow. We have a 6-year-old who will be home about 10 days per contracted 9 month period, as he attends school.

We hope to find a nanny with a warm, gentle demeanor who values positive parenting. We would love a mature nanny with experience raising her own child/children. Pay range DOE, with a generous number (~15 days) of paid days off/holidays.

If interested, please feel free to message me a little bit about yourself and your experience. I look forward to hearing from you! ☺️

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Charlotte, NC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Charlotte, NC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Charlotte, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
