A little bit about us

I have a one year old little boy named Jaxson who just needs to be watched while I study for my exam for school. He’s so easy to watch, & to please. I’m not looking for a full time nanny just someone temporarily. The last nanny I had off here was lazy and actually dropped my child on his head and wouldn’t answer me when I asked what was wrong, so I’m not here to play games… I will not have anyone sit on their phone while watching my kid. All you have to do is watch him that’s it. I rather keep it real at first so you know If im the right match or not. My kid comes first and I think any mother would want the same for their child as well. It’s really not a difficult task to just make sure he’s eating, taking naps, changing a diaper and playing with him. He’s such a warm hearted child and he always has a smile on regardless if he’s not feeling well. He’s so easy to take care of !

A little bit about us

We have two children, ages 20 months and 9 weeks. They are in daycare from 9-1 Monday-Friday. We need someone to pick them up from daycare and look after them 2-3 afternoons each week while we work from home. (Days and times are somewhat flexible.)
We also need a sitter for occasional dates nights, evenings we need to work late, weekend outings etc. If all goes well we would love to find someone we could bring with us on family vacations.
We expect only housework associated with the kids. This would include things like cleaning up their meal dishes and tidying play areas after you use them.
Our toddler loves to go places like the children's museum and science center. We will provide passes for all of these outings.
My husband and I are easy to get along with and our kids are a lot of fun. I'm hoping to build a working environment where our nanny can feel comfortable and valued.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Greensboro, NC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Greensboro, NC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Greensboro, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
