A little bit about us

Hi! We are looking for a 1-day a week nanny for our almost 6mo sold, Cam. I am not sure which exact day I will be working during the week, I am in the interview process now (Registered Nurse). I hope to solidify the same day each week, but will let you know for sure ASAP! It will be a 6am shift, in which I will need to leave by 515am. You would work 5am-1pm, super ideal schedule so you could have the rest of your day off!

If you were to come nanny in-house, which is our preference, we do have a small, 10yo dog (chiweenie breed, named Rue). She loves people and loooves going on walks with me and the baby.

Cam loves being outside as much as possible. Its our go-to if he's seemingly getting bored of his play gym, high chair, etc. He has started stranger danger recently, but does warm up and is fine! You will be responsible for his two morning short naps, I will put him down for the afternoon nap when I get home. We are not comfortable with him riding with others currently, so you would be staying here during your time with him.

We would have all age-appropriate foods available for him so you will not need to worry about cooking for him or the like! Subject to change...? I'm new to this so I'm not entirely sure! Hoping maybe you can help me navigate this, assuming you're an expert in this field! :)

My husband does work downstairs in his office and will be up occasionally for things like snacks and lunches. But he will be hiding out downstairs for the majority of your time here!

Happy to answer any other questions and looking forward to speaking with you!

A little bit about us

Need a part time nanny, 2-3 days per week, for 10 weeks or so, possibly longer and possibly permanent!

We are too professional parents searching for childcare for our 7 month old daughter. This may be a temporary position for 10-ish weeks, or maybe permanent. The usual hours needed are 8 am until 5 pm (with some slightly flexibility occasionally needed). Days of the week are flexible to fit your schedule.

You will be responsible for naps, daytime activities, meals (mostly bottles at this point), light housekeeping and light meal prep.

We are a pet friendly home and you should be comfortable with friendly dogs and cats.

The successful applicant will have:
- ability, knowledge, and experience caring for an infant
- prior child care experience with infants
- be hardworking, loving, energetic, punctual, and reliable
- a resume
- references

You must be able to prep bottles, warm milk/frozen breastmilk, and clean bottles, be willing to complete some household tasks (baby's laundry, tidying baby's nursery, load and unload dishwasher), and be willing to work around dogs in the house (big, but friendly).

Compensation is a fixed hourly rate, depending on experience and performance.

If we seem like a good match for you, please forward your resume and let us know if you think you're a good fit!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in High Point, NC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in High Point, NC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in High Point, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
