A little bit about us

Would prefer someone local. We're looking for someone who wants a steady check, regardless of the hours worked. Will be filling in the gaps between me and my husbands overlapping shifts. He works a more steady job, and the hours would never/rarely set you past 2pm, except perhaps on his drill weekend. Which will be monthly. You must be okay with dogs. Be willing to sit at our house. Have experience with potty training. Small children and babies. Be willing to adhear to our rules and keep a reliable schedule. Compensation would be substantial, with room for added bonuses such as date nights, or the weeks that require you to work extra. This is a part time opportunity. Which hopefully we can agree upon a base amount of pay, and go from there.

A little bit about us

Elijah is the happiest boy you have ever met! He is content and rarely fuss’/cries. He loves being outside, is independent, and he is very smart. 8a-5p M-F would be most ideal due to my job being a 45 min drive to be there by 9a. Responsibilities include entertainment/learning time, meals/snacks, Limited screen-time, light cleaning up. I don’t want someone who will keep him occupied, but someone to administer quality time.

A little bit about us

This is a night time position. You would just have to stay with my baby overnight and be able to hear her if she happens to wake up crying. She sleeps through the night 97% of the time. 😊

What is an Infant Nanny in Mocksville, NC

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Mocksville, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
