A little bit about us
We are looking for a couple to nanny share. We originally shared with a couple for about 3 months however extenuating circumstances have caused them to back out.
Our nanny has been great, no issues whatsoever. She's a recent graduate from Meredith College for Child Development. She's Monday - Friday with us, around 8AM to 4:30PM. Cost to you would be hourly at $17.50 / weekly cost of $350. We're really looking for another couple for full time split, however we're considering all comers if you're only looking for a few days a week.
Our daughter is 6 months old & we plan to continue the arrangement with the nanny until she's a little over a year (6 months +/-). Our daughter is our second- her big brother is 3 years old & in daycare.
We are very flexible in hosting locations- Originally we split time M-T-W && Th-F between our home & the other couple's home. Obviously she's full time at our house at the moment but we are open to a rotating schedule, solo at one location or the other, or any combination. We have a cat and other animals would be a non-issue for us to share with.

What is an Infant Nanny in Raleigh, NC

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Raleigh, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
