A little bit about us

Hello, We usually need support from 9am- 3pm on a weekly basis for our 3 year old and 8 month soon to be 9 month. One day out of the week I work from home and on that day I would ask for support in the afternoon/evening and you’ll have the morning off. It depends when I have to attend a late meeting or a placement. The evening support will vary it won’t be everyday. During evening support my 5 year old will be home as well. We really want someone to focus on the girls and engage in activities with them. We will also require that you feed and provide them with light snacks. I will leave meals prepared. If this sounds of interest I would love to learn more about you.

A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking for someone who is able to watch our 1 year old and soon to be infant while my husband are both working. We really just need someone who can pick up and take our babies to daycare. This would be at most 3 days a week from 5AM-7AM and 5PM-9PM (one of us would be home anywhere between 7PM-9PM). This would require reliable transportation.

Our 1 year old is a happy, playful girl who loves to explore and play on her own. She has just started walking and does not stop! I am currently pregnant and due in December with baby #2!

I have 2 children, a 4 year old girl and a 6 month old boy. We will need childcare during the week, between the hours of 8am-5pm. The hours and days will rotate based on mine and my husbands jobs. How to Find an Infant Care Job in Thomasville, NC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Thomasville, NC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Thomasville, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
