A little bit about us

We have one baby girl who will be 3 1/2 months old when we need a nanny. We are looking for someone to care for her at our house while her dad is also here working from home. We have one small dog that will be in the home as well. There will be no pet care responsibilities but she will likely be where you are! We are looking for someone to be here two days a week from 9am until I get home around 4:45. The days are flexible to you. We would also be interested in someone who can provide some light housekeeping.

A little bit about us

Hello,

We are expecting a baby at the end of August and anticipate needing approximately 60 hours of help per month.

Yes, this seems like a long ways away, but with how child care situations have been I would prefer to send out an ad now in case I need to be put on a waiting list.

We are looking for someone prepared to work with us long term as we have no nearby family to help in any way with childcare.

We have 3 cats in the home who are all either very friendly or so shy you will never see them. Pet care is not needed as their litter boxes are automated and we feed them twice a day.

We would be primarily looking for help on Weekdays (Mon-Friday) from 7AM until 4:30PM while I am away for work to watch the baby and care for it.

We have a guest bedroom in a private finished basement with Wifi access if you need it for your comfort during your work with us.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

A little bit about us

Looking for a part time nanny for my 20 month old daughter, Fay! I recently took a new job and our current sitter isn’t as reliable as we need. We would need childcare on Monday, Tuesday, and/or Friday depending on my schedule. The hours would range somewhere between 9am-8:30pm on those days depending on when I’m scheduled. I’d love for her to be watched from our home but understand that might be more difficult to arrange. I look forward to talking with you!

A little bit about us

I have a 3 month old daughter and I am currently looking for part-time employment but I need a babysitter first. Would you be willing to watch her in your home? I would be able to drop her off and me or the dad could pick her up. Also you would be able to get a few extra hours here and there if you would like so I would be able to work on college work. I am trying to look for morning shift and my boyfriend is currently trying to look for a different job for a morning position as well but is working working shift currently. I look forward to hearing from you!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Canton, OH

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Canton, OH

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Canton, OH? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
