A little bit about us

Looking for an attentive, part-time nanny for our 5 month old daughter. She loves play time on the floor, reading books, walks in the carrier and riding in the swing.

Mom works from home and will be available for nursing and check ins throughout the day. We would like someone who is flexible with scheduling hours as work schedule is variable across the week.

Waldorf/Montessori inspired play. No screen time. Light help with household chores (dishes, laundry, tidying) is appreciated.

We also have a 4 year old and would love to find someone who might also be available for occasional afternoon/evenings with both kids.

A little bit about us

I am a stay at home mother of a daughter in kindergarten, a two year old son with speech delay, and has been diagnosed with possible ADHD, and a baby due in may. I am looking for someone who can help primarily with my two year old son, playing with him, teaching him, and taking him to the park or to open gym. He is a big ball of energy and can be hard to handle at times, especially since he gets frustrated a lot because he cannot say words yet. My daughter is very easy and is in school during the day. Once the baby is born I will need help with the newborn as well. The hours and days are flexible and can be discussed

We are first-time parents expecting at the end of March 2024. I am looking for someone who can care for our baby 1-2 times/week for 8 hours beginning in late June or early July (she will be 3 months old) so I can return to work. The days needed are pending at the moment but it would be a set/consistent schedule. We have two dogs who will be at home as well so preferably someone who can let them in the backyard from time to time.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Ashland, OR

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Ashland, OR

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Ashland, OR? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
