A little bit about us

We are a family of four looking for a nanny for our 7mo, beginning on or around November 26th, through at least August of 2024 or beyond, depending on how well things are working. We also have a 5yo, who is largely in school but would be around when on break from school. At least one parent will always be working from home. We're looking mostly for someone who can look after, engage, and feed our 7mo while we are working, aiding him in skills acquisition and helping us keep him engaged without the use of screens. Ideally, we would like someone available from 8am-4 p.m. M-F, but one of us has flexible hours, so were open to different availability during the work week.

I was recently in an accident and my knee got fractured so I would be looking for morning help with my 8 month old son while the older boys will be at school I may need help with them as well with simple tasks such as organizing their things and doing homework and chores. I have three boys Christian, who is 10 Jaysean who is 6 and Josiah who is eight months old. Tattoo older boy go to the same school and catch the same bus they go to school from 9 AM to 4 PM. I would need care 8 AM to about 3 PM depending on my fiancé’s work hours which change a lot as he runs his own business. He is very busy I would help for myself. I would just really need help for the baby and other children. They love to sing and dance play sports and laugh a lot ! We are ready to meet Someone who would like to come and help us out which we really would appreciate.

A little bit about us

Looking for an experienced nanny who is able to care for infants. Our son is 2 months old and is a pleasant sweet child but refuses a bottle of breastmilk. This makes it difficult for us as my wife (his mom) is going back to work and cannot breastfeed him from 8-5 daily. He naps in a carrier on me for hours at a time but this makes it difficult for me to care for our almost 3 year old daughter during that time. I will be home with the nanny and the kids for the grand majority of the time. Our main goal is finding someone who may be able to help with feeding and getting him down for a nap. No cooking, driving, or cleaning needed. We have two dogs that are 60-75lbs and friendly.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Erie, PA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Erie, PA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Erie, PA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
