A little bit about us

Hi! I have a 2 year old son, named Rafael, who is so sweet and snuggly! He’s also very active and just overall plays really well with his toys, he’s an easy kid! His nickname is Rafi. He’s in a half day preschool so he will be at school until 1:15.
I am due with my second son in February! His name is Ari! I’m Looking for a part time nanny starting in April. The hours would be 8:30am - 3: 30pm. 3 days a week Tuesday, Thursday, Friday! We do have 2 sweet dogs in the home, the only request with them is letting them out to go potty in our fenced backyard. 1-2x’s a day.
Because my son, Rafi is in preschool, majority of the day will just be taking care of Ari. My husband and I will take care of drop off but we may need some pickups for Rafi. His preschool is 15 min from our home. Thank you for your consideration!

A little bit about us

We are the Huelves family. We have two beautiful babies, our son Rome, who is 21 months and our daughter Lucca, who is 9 months. As you can imagine, it is nothing but hectic in our household, but the joy that they bring to us both is immeasurable. We have a wonderful nanny who just found out she's expecting and now we need a new, full time nanny with availability Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 as well as some weekends and evenings. Our son walks and is very independent with his toys and playing in general, however, he does like snuggles and to lay on laps and hug. Also, the occasion interaction of playing with his toys. He needs diaper changes and baths, and you would need to feed him lunch, we take care of breakfast and also bring snacks to the room. Our daughter Lucca is a baby baby and needs diaper changes and feeds and tummy time, etc. , both me and my husband work out of our home so we are there but not always hovering. If you are interested, please let us know. I will say as New Yorkers we have seen quite a bit of flakiness when it comes to nannies around the area, so if you're someone who's interested in working and working with wonderful children and want to make some money then this is a great opportunity for you.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Fort Mill, SC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Fort Mill, SC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Fort Mill, SC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
