A little bit about us

I need a nanny Mon mornings 8am-12pm and every other Saturday 8am-12pm. I also have a meeting every first Wednesday [phone number hidden] of the month where I could use some help.

My daughter is a goofy and loving big sister, who loves to spend her time outdoors foraging and blowing bubbles. My son who was born 16 weeks early is verbally delayed but has no specific dietary or medically invasive needs.

Dad will probably be resting or getting ready for work in the mornings. His work schedule varies which is why we are in need of a nanny.

We have two dogs which we intend to keep kenneled.

A little bit about us

I have one child, his name is Roman and he is 5 months! I work Wednesday through Saturday and am getting transferred to day shift next week and my fiance works night shift the same days each week and will have to watch him during the day when he needs to be sleeping so it will be hard on him. He currently sleeps through the night but I’m not sure if that will change soon. I’m needing a full time nanny Wednesday through Sunday and may need a nanny for days we go on a small trip. I will be working Wednesday- Saturday 7:00 am-5:30pm and my fiance works Wednesday- Saturday 6:30pm-5:00am. We are struggling to constantly try to find someone to watch him and cannot always rely on people.

My kids are George (10 months), Ada (3 years), and Joanie (5 years). I am needing help during the summer time with childcare while I see clients around town (I’m a lactation consultant). My hours vary per week, but I can be very flexible on when I see clients- and I can see them based on when you are available for childcare!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Maryville, TN

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Maryville, TN

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Maryville, TN? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
