A little bit about us
I’m a night shift nurse and plan to go back to work at the start of the year.
Max will be about 4 months old then.
I’m looking for someone who can watch him at our home while I sleep Mondays and Tuesdays from around 7-3.
He does have a big brother, Jack, who is in kindergarten. I do not expect care for him and this time frame allows me to drop him off and pick him up from school while you are with Max.
We do have 2 dogs but they can be outside in our fenced backyard if weather permits. If not they can hang out in the sunroom during your care hours and may just need let out and back inside once.
We prefer no smokers. Since he’s little and still sleeps a lot youre of course welcome to watch tv and use the wifi while he rests.
The only household work expected of you would be washing his bottles and cleaning up after yourself.
Let me know if I can give any additional information!

I will also need someone for a more clearly scheduled period of time when I work with mother's postpartum.
I'm definitely willing to pay extra to anyone that is on call and called into babysit.
Bonus points if you can watch at my house OR if you will have other children around too. I have and 1.5 year old daughter who is potty training currently.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Murfreesboro, TN? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
