A little bit about us

I have a family of 3 (9 month old). Im a nursing student and work 24 hours/week. Dad is military and works out of town every other week. Hes home before 6pm throughout the week. We have 1 cat and 1 dog.

My school schedule can get a little crazy, I'm never home after 5pm on school days (I graduate in Dec 2023). MY work schedule is never the exact same 2 days (medical field).
Care, feed, nurture, teach, etc a 9 month old while parents work and go to school.
We'd like someone that can be flexible and accountable.

A little bit about us

From youngest to oldest is Giovanni (big dog) Selena (bug eyes) and Brailyn (loka). They're all super sweet. Selena is a little more sour patch lol. I will have a 4 day on 2 day off rotation. But my husband is usually off on Sundays so I just need monday-saturday. From bout 130-at the latest 4. During my training days it may have to be a little earlier. And rarely my husband gets home by 4. It's usually around 330 but just to be safe I said 4. Sometimes he has to work a little later or traffic. I don't want to have to worry bout my kids. I wanna go to work and no my kids are ok with whoever they're with. Just cool with the kids. The hours needed is at the end of nap time. So you may only see the kids for maybe am hour somedays.

What is an Infant Nanny in Alvarado, TX

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Alvarado, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
