Looking for a nanny to help us watch our 10 month old, Judah Brave. The job would be Monday - Friday from 10:15am to 6:15pm with flexibility for a date night once a week. We would also like for this person to clean and help keep up with the house. Our first and top priority is to find someone that loves the Lord and is Christian. We cook all of our sons food, so would love someone who enjoyed cooking and is also handy around the house.

A little bit about us

We are the Nix family! My son, Walker, is 2 and goes to preschool from 9-2 everyday. My daughter, Avery, is 7 months old and she stays home with me. Both my husband and I work full-time from home and have demanding jobs, albeit flexible. We are underwater between kids, work and household chores and would like to find someone who is flexible with taking care of kids and doing household chores (think meal prep, dishes, laundry, standard tidying). We have a housekeeper that comes once a week, so the cleaning wouldn’t be deep cleaning. We haven’t had help before and are in the early stages of figuring out what we need / what works for us. I think we are looking for someone in the afternoons from 2:30-5:30. Sometimes I can take care of the kids during this time, but that means other things lack. Sometimes I have to work during this time and then kids and household stuff suffers. Hoping to be able to find someone who can fill these hours and assist in whatever is needed to keep our house in order. We also have a dog, Cade, who is a 4 year old Cavapoo (15lb). He’s a sweetheart who loves a good cuddle, but can also be energetic. There won’t be any responsibilities for him, but you have to be okay with him around. Looking forward to meeting you!

A little bit about us

I am looking for a nanny for my almost 10 month old baby boy Aydin. Looking for someone to help me with my mornings 5 days a week. Feeding the baby, doing playtime, washing bottles and baby stuff, folding and putting away baby laundry, wiping high chair and play mats, loading the dishwasher..just light daily duties.
I have one small dog, Klaus, who is very sweet and friendly. Occasionally there will be errands Id have to run, so you’d have to watch Aydin while I’m out. No pick ups and drop offs yet.

A little bit about us

We need someone who can be fully immersed into our family life… The older children will be home during the summer hours, so someone fun and engaging. The older boys do not need full time supervision, but they do need a friend!
During the school year, it would only be the baby during the day.
This includes keeping our baby during the day, date nights, traveling and helping out generally where needed and light housekeeping.
School drop off or pick will be needed some days. We need someone who is very flexible, bc our work can be sporadic at times. You must be easy going and above all who is very nurturing, loving and playful. Our baby is Hispanic, so fluency in Spanish is preferred.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Colleyville, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Colleyville, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Colleyville, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
