A little bit about us

Howdy! My family is looking for a part-time sitter for Tuesdays 9AM-5PM in the Poth-Floresville area.

We have a 5-year old boy, a 3-year old boy, a 2-year old girl, and another kiddo on the way. Our kids are very energetic, love to play outside, paint, and read. We work from home and usually have to run errands so we are looking for someone to care for the children.

We hope you’re comfortable having livestock and dogs nearby as we do live on a steer ranch! Only one of our dogs is allowed in the house.

Very light housekeeping duties, including making simple lunches (for example: sandwiches and fruit), and helping the little ones clean up after themselves.

Our 5-year old is in school during the day so until the baby is born you will be looking after our 2 and 3-year olds the majority of the day.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out!

A little bit about us

I need a babysitter for my 6 month old son. I work from home and need care for only one day a week preferably either a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Whichever day works best for you. My sons name is Christian and he is a very silly boy! He’s currently in the “only want to be held” phase and can sometimes be a handful. I’m working on it but it’s been difficult so prepare for a little bit of a challenge lol.

A little bit about us

Hi I have two littles (boy & girl) who are great kids! I work night shift so I’d need someone to watch kids 2-3 times at night (6pm-3am) & maybe sometimes during the day (8am-2pm) My kids sleep for the most part (night time & I’ll have them all ready for bed on the days I work nights. I live in a home so there’s cameras so you’ll be able to make yourself at home & watch the kids from the living room while they sleep in the room. Just needing someone to watch my babies while I’m gone. Can’t wait to meet you!

A little bit about us

Justine is a happy 5 month old baby who loves exploring her toys on the floor of her playpen. She’s currently teething so having soothing toys handy are a must. She cries when she’s hungry or tired only so it’s really easy figuring out the issue.

We’re really only looking for a weekend sitter for a few hours on a Friday or Saturday night.

Our expectations would be to feed, change, and soothe Justine while keeping her area tidy and safe.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Floresville, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Floresville, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Floresville, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
