A little bit about us
Hello! My husband and I are looking for a caring and reliable nanny to assist us with our newborn baby girl, who is expected to arrive between the end of February and the beginning of March 2025.
About Us:
• We are a Christian family seeking someone who shares our values and can help provide loving care for our little one.
• I work from home, so childcare will be in our home from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, once maternity leave ends.
What We’re Looking For:
• Newborn care: Someone experienced and comfortable caring for infants.
• A strong personal connection: We hope to build a trusting relationship with you as you care for our baby girl.
• Christian background: This is important to us, as we want our child to be nurtured in a faith-centered environment.
Additional Help Before Baby Arrives:
In the meantime, we’d love to have someone help us out by cleaning our home once a week to ensure everything is ready for the baby’s arrival.
Requirements:
• Prior experience with newborns.
• A clean background check.
• Non-smoker.
• Must be reliable, compassionate, and aligned with Christian values.
If you’re interested and feel like this could be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you! Please send us a message so we can discuss further.

We are a Christian family seeking a caring and dependable nanny to help us welcome our baby boy, expected in June. This will be a temporary position for about one month, supporting our family during this special transition.
We also have a 1-year-old, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable around young children and can help create a calm, supportive environment at home.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with newborn care
Helping with light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, basic cleaning)
Supporting mom during postpartum recovery
Occasionally helping with our 1-year-old as needed
We value someone with a Christian background, experience with newborns, and a genuine heart for serving families. The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and able to pass a background check.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Harlingen, TX
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Harlingen, TX
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Harlingen, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
