A little bit about us

My baby is 9 months old, super energetic and vocal For being small. He is super gentle but will be skittish at first. He’s already eating some solids but purée is still part of the meals plus the formula. We are a military family, so our schedules vary. My husband will be coming back from rotation soon.
I need someone that is okay with being on call and working 2-3 days out of the week. I just started a new job and it'll be on call plus The regular shift (will know more about it later) my mom assist me with caring some days when she’s not working hence the 2-3 days only. Some days you’ll be needed 8hrs other 3-5hrs max. Once my husband comes it’ll change.
Needing someone that can cook for him, feed, diaper change, interact with him and also Wash his bottles/feeding utensils.

A little bit about us

I am a single mom with 2 beautiful babies and I work from home. My daughter is 3 years and my baby boy is 8 months. They are my world and I am theirs. Any help is appreciated with them, my baby is who requires more of the taking care of, as my daughter listens and knows a bit of how things work around here while I work. It's still a lot managing them all on my own, but there are good days.

A little bit about us

Hi! I’m looking for someone to help out with my two kids — a 3-year-old and an 8-year-old. My 3-year-old is autistic and very sweet, and he’ll be the main one needing care and attention. I work from home, so I’ll be around if needed, but I’ll need help keeping him engaged and supported during the day.

My 8-year-old is pretty independent and usually spends time in his room. You may just need to make him breakfast or check in occasionally.

I’m looking for help during the weekdays while I’m working — ideally between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Expectations: Mainly caring for my 3-year-old — playing, helping with meals/snacks, and keeping him safe and comfortable. Light help with the older one is appreciated.

A little bit about us

Looking for a full time nanny to watch my daughter Monday through Friday. We won’t need care until September and she’ll be 3 months old then. I’m dual military so both me and my spouse work full time. The hours would be from 6am-5pm. We have a cat and plan on getting a dog soon. We don’t need any care for the cat, she’s pretty shy and most stays to herself. Would just need the dog to be let out for potty breaks in the backyard.

A little bit about us

Hello, My name is Audrey La Pointe, we are a family of 3, it is my husband and myself with our 11 month old daughter. She is very energetic all we need is someone to play with her, get her to sleep during her naps, and give her baby food. She takes 2 naps for about 1 and a half hours each. We do not need any house cleaning, we do have 2 small dogs (miniature schnauzer and small poodle) who are semi indoor dogs but they go to their room when it is cold or when baby girl is sleeping otherwise they are outside. It is only a 2 week gig at our residence, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I will be resigning from my jobs and need to work for 2 more weeks.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Horizon City, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Horizon City, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Horizon City, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
